Making a windshield for your bike is not hard to do. Here is how I did mine.

I wanted a map holder I could use with printouts from Google Maps. I do have a tank bag with a map holder, but for most of the riding I do, a tank bag isn't necessary, and I would have to fold a regular piece of paper to fit in the map holder. So I made my own out of some tinted Lexan left over from making my own windshield.

This mod replaces your two coils, four plugs wires and boots with later model stick coils, also known as 'COP', or 'Coil On Plug'. This creates a stronger spark, due to not having the wires and boots which deteriorate over time. This should result in quicker starts, better fuel mileage and possibly a slight power increase. It is a relatively inexpensive mod. You can purchase the four coils new or from a from a salvage yard and make your own harness or purchase a plug and play kit from Tony 'T Cro' Crotchet.
